OZ H2O – PRIVACY POLICY
OZ H2O (referred to in this policy as our, us and we) are committed to protecting and maintaining the Customer (referred to in this policy as you or your) personal privacy. We are bound by the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Act). The APPs are designed to protect the confidentiality of information and the privacy of individuals by regulating the way personal information is collected, used, disclosed and managed.
Generally, personal information is information or an opinion relating to an identified, or reasonably identifiable, individual. This policy explains the types of personal information that we may collect and hold, how that information is used and with whom the information is shared. It also sets out how you can contact us if you have any queries or concerns about this information.

In order to provide our customers with our products and services, we may collect and use personal information about you or third parties. You may choose not to provide your personal information, however it may affect your use of this site or any products and services offered by us. The type of personal information we may collect includes your name, gender, date of birth, phone numbers, postal and residential addresses and your e-mail address. OZ H2O does not collect or store your payment details, as all card payments are processed via the PayPal gateway. Please refer to their website for more information.
Why do we collect personal information?
Any personal information we collect from you is used by us to conduct the necessary activities to provide you with the best possible service and products. We collect and use your personal information to contact and communicate with you in relation to scheduled services and maintenance of the products, billing and postage.
How we collect personal information
Personal information may be collected by way of forms filled out by individuals (including online forms), via our website cookies, by emails, by telephone, in person or from any form of interaction attached to our website. Generally, we collect an individual’s personal information from that individual, however, we occasionally may collect your personal information from any other organisation with which you have had any dealings, or which you have nominated to act as trade referee or a friend and family referral. If you register with us (including by telephone or online via our website), we will collect information necessary to complete that registration and we reserve the right to collect your personal information even when you use our website anonymously.
How we store personal information
Securing your personal information is important to us. We may hold your personal information in either electronic or hard copy form. Any personal information collected is secured by a multi-layer encryption process, as we use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) with Transport Layer Security (TLS) to protect our customers from malicious users. All personal details are stored on a protected server and in a password protected storage device. Access to the information stored is limited and restricted to authorised personnel only. We take all reasonable steps to keep your personal information secure and to protect your personal information from interference, loss, misuse or unauthorised alteration, modification and disclosure. Generally, we only store your personal information for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which we collected it. Marketing
We may use your personal information to advise you of competitions, new products and marketing initiatives that we think may be of interest to you. If you are a registered user, you can log into your account to view, update or edit your details, at no cost. Alternatively, if you send us an email requesting that we produce the information we hold, we will do so on payment of our fee for processing such request.
If you are not a registered user on our site, you are still entitled to request a copy of the information we hold about you. We will provide you with a copy of same on payment of our fee for processing your request.
You are welcome to request access to your personal information by contacting us, if at any time you want to:
• know what personal information we hold about you; or
• make changes to your personal information.
We may also choose to deny your request for access, without providing you with a reason where:
• access impacts on the privacy of others;
• the request for access is frivolous or vexatious;
• there are existing or anticipated legal proceedings; or
• such access can be denied under Act, other relevant law or by a law enforcement agency.
Passwords
By logging onto our website using your username or email address and password (Customer credentials), the Customer agrees to use our website in accordance with all our policies and our Terms and Conditions and accepts liability for all activities fulfilled under the Customer credentials. Therefore OZ H2O do not recommend that you disclose your Customer credentials to any third parties. At your discretion should you choose to share your Customer credentials or any of your personal information with third parties for whatever reason, you do so at your own risk and are solely responsible for all actions. OZ H2O suggests that you take caution by ensuring you properly log off when you are finished with your session on our website and to review third party’s policies before using their website.
Links to other websites
OZ H2O may provide links to third-party websites. Once the Customer leaves our website using the link shown on www.ozh2o.com.au, the Customer acknowledges that OZ H2O has no control over the personal information collected by those websites and further acknowledges that each website and business will be governed by their own policies. Once you leave our website all concerns and claims in relation to your personal information must be directed to the proprietors of the third-party website. Accordingly, the Customer is encouraged to read the policies contained on the third party websites before proceeding to navigate the third party websites.

To ensure we are meeting the needs and wants of our website users, and to develop our online services, we may collect aggregated information by using cookies or similar electronic tools. Cookies are small amounts of information sent from a web server to your computer. These cookies are used to retain login and location information in order to make your experience more convenient and personal. It is important to log off when you are finished with your session on our website. If you stayed logged on, and leave your computer on, someone else can use the open session to access your account.

As our business evolves our business processes and policies will be reviewed and may be revised. We may change our Privacy Policy at any time. OZ H2O reserves the right to add, delete or change this policy without notice. OZ H2O recommends that you read our policy every time you use our website.

• put in place action plans to resolve your complaint and improve information handling as appropriate.
OZ H2O endeavors to respond to the complaint within 10 business days of receiving a complaint from you. If you are not satisfied with the decision, you can contact us to discuss your concerns.
